BALANCING CHAKRAS WITH AROMA YOGA

 



What is Chakras?

The Sanskrit word Chakra means Wheel. Thus, our body is made up of many energy wheels, functioning as energy centers for capturing, storing and distributing Vital Energy, Prana, in our body.

These energy centers are in our subtle body and connect with the physical body and the Nadis. Nadis are the energy meridians through which prana, vital energy, blood, nutrients circulates. It is estimated that we have 72 thousand nadis throughout the body. The three main nadis in our body are Ida, Pingala and Sushumna.

NADI IDA It is associated with the energy of the Moon and represents the feminine aspect of the personality. This channel controls the functions of the parasympathetic nervous system, which calms the mind and body (yin), as it is related to emotions, feelings and memories.

NADI PINGALA It is associated with the energy of the sun and represents the masculine aspect of the personality. Controls the sympathetic nervous system, stimulates activities (yang), is responsible for the logical, rational and analytical part of the intellect.

NADI SUSHUMNA It is the main energetic channel in the human body that circulates from the base of the spine to the top of the head, carrying the energy of KUNDALINI, the internal primordial evolutionary force, which comes from within and awakens through the practices of yoga and meditation. Sushumna flows freely when IDA and PINGALA are in balance.

Each crossing of Ida and Pingala in Shusumna gives rise to the main chakras, where five are located along the spine and two in the head.

The chakras are the wheel of life, in constant movement and transformation. Every experience you live is stored in your body. Your biology is your biography. Every emotion and thought you experience is creating a bridge, blocking or releasing the flow, closing or opening a river that will reach the ocean of light that is your consciousness.

There are no isolated events in your life, everything is part of a larger sequence of events that you only understand when your wheels are spinning, without getting a wheel stuck in a hole in the road. In this workshop we will understand a little more about how these frequency levels work, the seven main energy wheels, the chakras.
