It’s time to talk about something important. Since I found out most of the cosmetics, makeup or household products are made with toxic and dangerous substances for our health, I started to change some stuff in my life. Gradually. I started to realise that the most expensive cream for my face, was actually causing harm to my skin and to my cells.
And also the spray deodorant that I used too.
Since I have a historical breast cancer in my family, I had to be worrying about my choices regarding of this.
Some of the substances that this products are made is harmful and here they are:
Aluminum Compounds
Next on the list of toxins in your drugstore deodorant are aluminum compounds. Aluminum compounds are found in more drug store antiperspirants because they're the ingredient that makes you not sweat. Aluminum compounds clog your pores, blocking your body's ability to perspire.
Below, I share some information about this subject from The National Cancer Institute’s website:
What is known about the ingredients in antiperspirants and deodorants?
Aluminum-based compounds are used as the active ingredient in antiperspirants. These compounds form a temporary “plug” within the sweat duct that stops the flow of sweat to the skin's surface. Some research suggests that aluminum-containing underarm antiperspirants, which are applied frequently and left on the skin near the breast, may be absorbed by the skin and have estrogen-like (hormonal) effects (3).
Because estrogen can promote the growth of breast cancer cells, some scientists have suggested that the aluminum-based compounds in antiperspirants may contribute to the development of breast cancer (3). In addition, it has been suggested that aluminum may have direct activity in breast tissue (4).
Another articles in π cancer.gov is about other substances such:

I started to make my own deodorant years ago, with Coconut Oil, corn starch and essential oils.
* The essential oil of Tea tree or Melaleuca is distinguished by combatting bacteria, fungi and viruses. It also has immunostimulating, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory activity. Cypress essential oil contains astringent and antiseptic properties, making cypress an effective deodorant. Reduces excessive sweating.
About 2 years ago, I learned how to make facial wash, spray for yoga mats, household cleaners and insect repellent in a DIY workshop leading by an inspired woman behind Free Spirit Oils - check their website:

Like I said, gradually. Go and experience for yourself. Then your family. Friends. So you can have your own opinion.
I bought all my Oils and products from Young Living, and I’m in love with them.
